Belmont Front Porch has recruited “cub reporters” for the School Year

This just in to the BFP newsroom — two students have agreed to report on doin’s up at the HS this year.

As a condition of employment, the new additions to the Belmont Front Porch editorial staff have requested anonymity and have promised to be nice to all concerned. Of course, the salary demands were outrageous: tickets to football, soccer, and baseball games for the year, reimbursement for SPHS parking passes, movie and game rentals once per month from the Movie Gallery over by Bi-Lo, breakfasts at Waffle House, and plenty of Fourth Meal opportunities.

Well, the older, much wiser, members of the board agreed to batteries for the digital camera, pizzas from Demetriou’s and a couple of gallons of red and black paint for the Rock.

We will let you know how the negotiations turned out — but for now, watch here for really relevant news about what is important to the teenagers in Belmont !

Ok, so don’t peek over their shoulders on their Facebook pages….
